See which of your Autodesk Forma projects need attention
Forma Project Health reads your account and shows, across every project, which Revit models are out of date, which projects have gone quiet, and which issues, RFIs and submittals are overdue. It only reads: nothing is ever written back to Autodesk.
For BIM managers and coordinators.
- M6Issues Activity6 projects have overdue issuesCritical
- M8RFI Tracking9 RFIs are past their due dateCritical
- M1Revit Version11 projects are on an older Revit releaseAt-risk

Nine modules, one table per question
Each module is a table across every project, with its own KPIs, search and filters, a read-only detail panel, Open in Forma links and CSV export. Status is worked out from the thresholds your account admins set in Settings.
BIM Management
- M1Revit Version
The Revit release of each project’s newest model, against the account’s current release.
- M2User Activity
Who is active in each project in Forma: the latest issue, RFI, submittal or file action per member. Work done locally in Revit is not seen.
- M3Member Distribution
Project size, roles, admin coverage and the internal versus external split.
- M4Publish Activity
Whether each project is still receiving documents: the last time any file was published.
- M5Project Setup
Whether each project has Issues, RFIs and Model Coordination enabled and a Project Admin assigned.
Coordination
- M6Issues Activity
Issue counts per project, with the status and type breakdown.
- M7Coordination Activity
Last .rvt / .nwc file activity in the folders that feed Model Coordination. This is file activity, not a model publish.
- M8RFI Tracking
RFI counts per status, overdue RFIs and the average response time.
- M9Submittal Delays
Submittal counts, overdue submittals and the average review cycle.
Open a project, see everything that needs a look
A project dashboard brings together its models and Revit versions, health per check group, open items and recent activity. Select an issue, RFI, submittal, review or model and its comments, workflow steps and version history open in a drawer, without leaving the page.
- Health is checked per group: models, issues, RFIs, submittals, clashes, reviews and setup.
- Every item links back to Forma, so the fix happens where the work lives.
- Across projects, Activity shows who touched which Issues, RFIs and Submittals today, yesterday, last week and last month. Health is a scorecard of all projects.

Here is who worked on Issues, RFIs and Submittals yesterday, and how each project’s open items changed since the previous snapshot.

A daily mail with what changed
Each person chooses a schedule in Settings. The mail lists who worked on Issues, RFIs and Submittals yesterday, then how each project’s open and overdue counts moved since the previous snapshot.
Every issue is checked against the recipient’s own Autodesk access, so the mail never shows an item its reader could not open in Forma.
Ask your AI about your projects
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app to your account and ask in plain language which projects have overdue RFIs, what changed yesterday or which models are out of date. The answers come from the same data as the dashboards.
The connector is read-only and sees only what you can open in Forma. You approve each app once and can cut it off in Settings at any time.
- Which projects have overdue submittals this week?
- What changed in Hospital North since yesterday?
- List the models still on an old Revit version.
Read-only, with your access rules
- Nothing is written to Autodesk
- Forma Project Health never creates, edits or deletes anything in your Forma account. There is no action bar to misuse.
- You see your own projects
- Listings are limited to the projects you belong to. Account admins see the whole account.
- Tokens stay on the server
- Autodesk tokens are never sent to your browser.
- Only the account you install it in
- The app reads accounts that added it as a Custom Integration in Hub Admin, and only those.
- Little is stored
- A database holds daily snapshots (counts and per-project module facts), display settings, and what sign-in and the daily mail need: your name, email, mail schedule and an encrypted Autodesk login. Everything else is read live from Autodesk.
Set up in three steps
Create an APS app
At aps.autodesk.com, create a Traditional Web App. Add this site’s /api/auth/callback address as the callback URL, enable the Autodesk Construction Cloud, Data Management and Model Derivative APIs, and copy the Client ID.
Add it as a Custom Integration
In Forma, open Hub Admin, then Custom Integrations. Add the Client ID with Document Management and Account Administration access. Without this, dashboards show a “Custom Integration missing” notice.
Sign in with your Autodesk account and pick a hub. The overview fills in at once; trends build up from the daily snapshots.
Questions
Can it change anything in Forma?
No. It only reads. There is nothing in the interface that creates, edits or deletes data in Autodesk, and Open in Forma links take you to Forma to act.
Who can use it?
Anyone with an Autodesk account in a hub where the app is installed. People see the projects they belong to; account admins see every project.
What do I need to set it up?
An APS app and a hub admin who can add it as a Custom Integration. Both steps are above, and the app shows a notice until the integration is in place.
How current is the data?
Project dashboards and item drawers are read live from Autodesk. Module tables and trends come from a daily snapshot, and each page shows when it last synced.
Why do Issues depend on a sign-in?
Autodesk serves Issues only to a signed-in user. The daily snapshot reads them with the stored login of the account’s steward; with none, Issues are shown as needing a sign-in.
Can I change what counts as at risk?
Yes. Account admins set the thresholds in Settings: days until a model is stale, external member ratio, overdue grace, the current Revit release and more. They change how status is shown, never any data in Autodesk.
